Thanksgiving reminds us of all those in our families who have gone before. When I saw these three women I was reminded of my grandmother, my great aunts and others who all traveled different roads but found their way home to celebrate thanksgiving with family. May you enjoy this holiday  with your family too!

Ya never know all the things you are capable of doing, until you give them a try. When Lyle received this envelope from Deb, (http://mistressdebrina.blogspot.com) I was flabbergasted!  Lyle was just as amazed…….she is well aware of your talents, but still, Deb…… it’s wonderful!

How can Fall/ Halloween have come so fast? What happened to summer? Where’s the Indian Summer that we all love so much? I feel life just swirling around like a bunch of leaves……I must be eating too much Halloween candy and getting a sugar high……anywho, Lyle loves Halloween and here is her latest.

I guess we are lucky. Rain and wind only. No snow. But come on….it feels like it has been raining for months! The birds are tired of it, our two stray kitties outside are tired of residing in the doghouse and Lyle , Jim  and I have had it. But the flip side is Lyle’s been busy!  I haven’t been over to take a picture of her Halloween “box” but I will. Neato. So here is what’s she’s been up to!

So OK—–what is it? That was one of those jokes you came home to tell your parents when you were in second grade.  I still chuckle over it.  It’s the newspaper, silly!  So when Lyle did her latest journal page, she picked the title aptly. Here it tis…….
