Walking Women

These girls have started on a journey! I dont know yet where they are going or why! I carved the stamp a while ago because the shape appealed to me. I wish they would take a journey away from all the horrible things that go on in Africa but I just cant see what fate has in store for them. Maybe they will find a way to peace! I know hope is there!

  1. Love this stamp you carved. Sending your message to all the places in the world where atrocities happen. Thanks for being such a force for good will thoughts in the world. xox

    • you are welcome! I wish I could somehow get the message across to the people who need to hear it! we are always preaching to the converted!

  2. I think they will…walk to a better place. Shown the way by those fabulous black birds.
Back after a long but FANTASTIC weekend.

    breathing 🙂

  3. Lyle, this piece really speaks to me. I love the calm space in the centre and even though crows serve as a warning of bad things to come in Africa the two women in blankets give hope. We need more feminine energy over here!

  4. I love this piece Lyle. The quiet power of the women speaks to me and whispers of their journey through life…observing much, happy for each other’s company and enjoying the journey as much as possible. Well, that’s how I see it anyway. Thank you for sharing this with us.

  5. I love the shapes, as well, and the enduring message of peace and hope!
